White, smooth and one-side glazed tissue paper: white is the traditional tissue paper colour, as well as black, red and brown, lending itself to nearly endless customisations. The weight, beyond offering minimum thickness, makes the tissue paper smooth to the touch and quite delicate. It becomes the perfect first skin for any product. One-side glazed papers, on the other hand, have both a glossy side and a rougher side on which it is possible to print.
Coloured tissue paper comes from a moist cellulose pulp made either of wood fibre or recycled materials such as newspapers, which is rolled until the desired weight and then steam dried. At the end of the production process, the tissue paper is rolled onto huge cylinders, coloured on one side and then personalised tissue paper with logos, textures, graphics and colours.
Avana tissue papers: the colour is unmistakable and the striped texture can be customised with a logo and/or graphics to make the product immediately recognisable.
Print on custom tissue paper
To avoid direct contact with the box, clothing brands wrap clothes and garments, shoe factories wrap shoes and leather goods wrap bags and accessories. For jewellery items in particular, it is possible to choose neutral pH tissue paper that is free from acids to prevent the silver from oxidizing.
How to create unique, personal tissue paper? Flexo printing, UV printing or hot stamping all offer a type of print with its own characteristics. It is here where we add our own touch.
We print logos and textures through internally produced digital photopolymer plates. This happens in our laboratory, where calibrated machines handle paper in reels. This is how Luxury Paper is born.
