FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING.
Flexography is a rotary printing method used in the most innovative paper processing centres. Its flexible output is great with many substrates and turns into excellent results. Flexographic printing requires special paper roll rotary machines.
The liquid colour is transported with an engraved cylinder that is either solvent- or water-based. The plates, produced internally by F.lli Magro, wrap the continuously spinning cylinders. The appropriate amount of colour is transferred through the screens.
The first one must carry a greater quantity of colour to create an underlying base. The paper is then passed onto the printing unit. Here, it is stamped by the plate before being transported to the drying oven. At this point, it is rewound onto a reel to be cut and packaged according to the client’s request.
